No, I've just tested with a

Quadro 570
+
Section "Device"
....
Option "UBB" "True"
EndSection
+
Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Disable"
EndSection

in my xorg.conf. I still have the same issue on ACER GD245HQ
