Hi Paul

I did this and the driver is already listed in /etc/driver_aliases
I got i working with a tip to manually change vesa to nv...

but if i use "the driver" while installation (it's optimus hardware) i got only flickering
have to boot with vesa drivers ..

if i try to configure with nvidia-settings or nvidia-xconfig - machine goes black or flickering ... didn't find out how to setup correctly till now ...

maybe you have some ideas? would be great
