Exactly what I was thinking. AMD/ATI seems to be pretty damn good in market share even though they're making such "crappy cards".

There's no denying that the GTX 580 is a better card. It would have been even better if had come out 6 months ago and been called the GTX 480...

And red777star, you really should check your facts before posting BS about the 5870's temperatures. Last I checked, the GTX 480 has the beefiest stock cooler ever created for a GPU, while the 5870 simply has a decent cooler. Even with the GTX 480's beefy cooler, it manages to have a louder fan at load and it runs hotter too. Yep, that HD 5870 runs super hot...
