I think i did the best thing in ordering the GTX 470, the GTX 570 is meh just a GTX480 with slightly lower power consumption and slightly lower temps.
As i thought of it £300 for the GTX 570 vs £177 for the GTX 470 a big diffrence in price. Will need to get a custom cooler then overclock it.
ATi explained that they made a shake up with the model numbers to allow Fusion (CPU and GPU intergrated) to become one into their line up which is due in the 1st Quater of next year.
So their model will now strech from CPU/GPU to Value to med value to high end to ultra high end.
At current and was the same before, with the 5870 cards the numbers mean, 5 = Generation, 8 performance region, 70 speed (30 low, 50 mid, 70 high).
The next card will be 6970 which is the 5870 replacement.
