This file is in my home directory and when I click on it I am told that it is already installed. However when i try to uninstall it as perr instructions for removal of binary rpm (i presume that it is a binary rpm?) files in the nvidia documentation I am told that it is not installed.
I am new to linux but have been interested in it for some time. My problem is that i seem to get lumbered with the wrong type of hardware all the time.
Close to tears (again!)
