There's a huge disparity in Fallout3/vegas with interior and outdoors shadows/lighting/shading. Indoors looks ten times better.

There are hardly any shadows of any kind outdoors despite having them maxed out in the graphics settings.

If they used a modified Rage engine, that would truly be epic.
