Personally I have the Energy RC-Micro 5.1
coupled with a set of Bowers & Wilkins front speakers for 7.1. I'm using an Onkyo TX-SR608
to push them.
To save a bit of cash, don't worry about the B&W fronts and leave it as a 5.1. Go with the Onkyo HT260
instead of the 608.
Oh and if you do go with the Energy speakers, don't expect them to sound great at first. They take about two days of burning in before they start to warm up.
