On a system like yours I'd say definitely 32-bit. 64-bit requires more ram, more hard disk space, and tends to eat up more bandwidth on your system bus. Since you are only running 2gb I'd say you need as much ram as you can get especially.

64-bit is good for higher end systems that have plenty of memory and a higher bandwidth bus to begin with. With some apps (especially games) the extra speed provided by 64-bit precision is definitely better.
