Default i5 sandy bridge upgrade for a Q6600@3.45

My system specs are below... I'm getting way more back on my taxes than expected... 2600$.. Paying for school out of pocket paid off ;]


Will the hyper threading in the i7 make much of a performance increase down the road? Most of the benchmarks I saw had the i5 actually ahead of the i7 sandy bridge

I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck here.. sense most of this tax return is going to dental work
