I don't really care as long as it doesn't slow down the boot up time. I am not sure why, but the last time I powered up the PS3 after I updated to 3.56 it seemed to take longer to boot than usual. It stayed at my default backdrop option (no wallpaper) for like 20-30 seconds with HDD light on with no XMB. Don't know if it was this new feature of theirs or not but I was kind of worried my PS3 may have broke cause it took a while for the XMB to show up.
