Same problem with 270.26. Win7 session in VMWare hangs with black screen after login prompt, and USB keyboard/mouse not responding. Does boot OK in 'safe mode'..
After hang, recovered by remote login and killing vmware-vmx, but keyboard still not responding correctly..
Reverted to 260.19.36, and everything works OK again...
