Default Re: Flash acceleration on Linux?

This is a good thing because on vdpau capable cards the 10.2 152 plugin version leads to display corruption regardless if you enable or disable hardware acceleration.
On some sites (youtube) you do get hardware decoding for HD content with the 152, but many sites have problem with this new plugin if hardware decoding is enabled. So this version creates more problems than it solves in this form.
Thats why. For me the 152 version is very very buggy - i get some sites that do not work, i see flash objects remaining in background of all applications as background, i get tons of flash plugin crashes, flickering playback, tearing vdpau playback in other applications. Very very bad.

The Google Chrome version works without problems (i use it in Opera).

BTW it seems it has vdpau in it:

Code:
$ strings /opt/google/chrome/libgcflashplayer.so | grep VDPAUglVDPAUInitNV
glVDPAUFiniNV
glVDPAUUnregisterSurfaceNV
glVDPAUSurfaceAccessNV
glVDPAUMapSurfacesNV
glVDPAUUnmapSurfacesNV
glVDPAURegisterOutputSurfaceNV
