I was hoping the new version of Redhat would solve my problems, but X freezes when I try to start it. What I don't understand is why Mandrake Linux 9.0 RC1 didn't have any problem detecting my video card and montitor and configuring X appropriately. I am tempted to reinstall Mandrake Linux to grab a copy of the XFConfig files and compare them to Redhats.

I'm not trying to install the drivers from NVidia yet, as the NV ones should work with Redhat. They are working with Mandrake.
