Here`s the error message I receive upon running lilo.conf :

bash-2.05# ./lilo.conf
./lilo/conf : line 1 : prompt : command not found
./lilo/conf : line 8 : lba32 : command not found
./lilo/conf : line 13 : read-only : command not found
./lilo/conf : line 17 : optional : command not found

and here is the actual lilo.conf file I`m talking about who used to work before upgrading the kernel and modifying it :

prompt
timeout="1000"
default=linux
boot="/dev/hda"
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
message=/boot/message
lba32

image="/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.20-8"
label="linux"
initrd="/boot/initrd-2.4.20-8.img"
read-only
append="hdd=ide-scsi root=LABEL=/"

other=/dev/hda1
optional
label="DOS"

image="/dev/hda1"
initrd="/boot/initrd-2.4.20-8.img"
append="hdd=ide-scsi root=LABEL=/"

Any ideas on how to activate this in order to be able to boot and modify it so I can run on the upgraded kernel which by the way COMPILED WITH NO ERRORS ?

Thank you in advance
