THIS IS HOW TO FIX:

MAKE SURE THE T.V. IS ON and IN THE VIDEO MODE that is connected to the P.C.

RESTART THE COMPUTER...

Auto-detection works on startup, I tried and it worked... SIMPLE

VISTA 64 BIT here..
