Default Ubuntu 11.04, nVidia driver 270.41.06 crashes on Quadro FX 2800M

Hello together!

I've just upgraded on my Dell precision M6500 that is equipped with a Quadro FX 2800M to the latest Kubuntu release (11.04).

Everytime I open Konsole and resize that window, my system freezes (remote login is still possible)!

Due to the informations in the other thread (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show....php?p=2415191) I've also tried the kernel parameters
Code:
enable_mtrr_cleanup mtrr_spare_reg_nr=1 hpet=disable
and the xorg.conf setting
Code:
Option "RegistryDwords" "PowerMizerEnable=0x1; PerfLevelSrc=0x2222; PowerMizerLevel=0x2; PowerMizerDefault=0x2; PowerMizerDefaultAC=0x2"
in any combination that gave a usable (although not perfect) system at the end of 10.10 - but that didn't show any difference.

What can I try to solve that?
