If it works, it doesn't really matter the brand really, and besides the Intel 510 SSD's wich are the fastest SSD's intel currently makes, use marvell controlers in them, so if Intel is happy with using those, that alone should satisfy anyone right there...
The only drives faster than these are the OCZ vertex 3's, wich weren't available when i put this system together about a month ago, but 900 MB/sec sustained read and 700 MB/sec sustained writes isn't too shabby either for the 510's in raid 0...
