I had exactly this issue, and had the RAM timings misconfigured in my BIOS. Fixing memory timings and reinstalling NVIDIA drivers was a solution for me; no Konsole freezes anymore.

Request a BIOS update from your manufacturer, or check if you have 2 SO-DIMMs with different timings inside your laptop.
