Can you use 3 our 4 of them in SLI?
If so I can see no reason to buy the 1.5gb 580 or even the 3gb one. For $200+ less per gpu you would get nearly the same performance in surround as a 3gb 580, and would also be able to drive high resolutions unlike the 590 or 580.
