We need to use Red Hat 4 and 2.6.9-100.EL.x86_64 is the most recent kernel it provides up to now.
The sata_nv driver that cames with that kernel is not compatible with the nForce 980a SLI chip set.
I could not find sata_nv driver compatible with nForce 980a SLI chip set.

Where can I find sata_nv driver compatible with nForce 980a SLI chip set?

Thanks in advance.
If you are not willing to backport the driver from newer kernels or use a newer kernel the answer is that there is no driver that will allow you to use it, period. Again, in summary your options are:

a) backport the driver from newer kernels or
b) upgrade to a newer kernel (yes I know they do not offer a newer one for RH 4)
c) upgrade to a newer version of RH or switch distros
