Default Re: nForce 980a SLI sata drivers for 2.6.9-100 Linux kernel

Hello,

Thank you again for your interest.
There must be something that I did not explain correctly.
I downloaded NFORCE-Linux-x86-1.25.zip drivers from:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_nforce_1.25.html

I can see this drivers are compatible with:

nForce4 430
nForce4 410
nForce4 AMD X16
nForce4 Intel X16
nForce4 SLI - Intel
nForce4 SLI - AMD
nForce4 Ultra - AMD
nForce4 - AMD
nForce3 Pro 250
nForce3 Pro
nForce3 250
nForce3 250Gb
nForce3
nForce2-S
nForce2
nForce

In fact, this drivers are included in the Linux kernel I am using and seems to be not compatible with the SATA controller installed in my motherboard (nForce 980a LSI chipset): The kernel can not find the SATA hard disks installed in the system. So, my questions are:

* Are these drivers compatible with nForce 980a LSI chipset.
* I they are not compatible, there are Linux drivers for nForce 980a LSI chipset?
* If this is the case, where can I find the source code?

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Best regards

Guillermo
