AMD has decided to extend AM3+ platform life.
Recently leaked AMD CPU roadmap showed AM3+ to have very short life and Bulldozer refresh Komodo with up to 10 cores will be move to new FM2 platform but now the roadmap is changed as AMD has decided to extend AM3+ platform life and it will support Komodo on AM3+ socket while Trinity APU will be move to FM2 platform.

Hope the revised roadmap is true but still need confirmation from AMD. If it will turn out to be real and Bulldozer reviews with benchmarks are better then I probably will upgrade it in the next few months.
After AM3+ probably will be AM4 with PCI Express 3.0/4.0 and DDR4 memory.
