Default Re: AMD has decided to extend AM3+ platform life.

AMD now confirmed they decided to extend AM3+ platform life, the roadmap now changed again about third times in last few months, the sad part is is AMD unfortunately decided to cancelled both Komodo CPU and Corona desktop platform so we will not have 10 core CPU in 2012.

Volan/Scorpius Refresh platform are now replaced cancelled Corona and Vishera CPU now replaced cancelled Komodo CPU for 2012, Vishera CPU will have up to 8 Piledriver cores and use same AM3+ socket as Zambezi.

I had decided ASUS M5A99X EVO will be my next motherboard, pity it wont have IGP. Look forward to have UEFI BIOS.
