What do you mean every other? With every new CPU on a Intel platform you need a new motherboard!! I guess that's why their Chipset sales are so large. I think the main reason being is yields of the APU are so low and as they are really ment for the lower end and has little use in high end it is better to have them turned off or removed to improve yields.
