I seriously think that software devs are going to put less and less time and effort into PC gaming as time goes on, it's the sad truth. Consoles are becoming and will become the standard for gaming. Call it "consolitis" if you will but it is what it is. And sure, maybe PC will make a "comeback" but it will be short lived if anything.
I do agree with this. However, a lack of good graphics usually shows a lack of effort from a developer, which I don't appreciate. DICE took a stab at creating a next-gen title with great graphics, gameplay, sound... it's the entire package. Activision/IW simply made a game based on a working formula with the same graphics, sound, gameplay... MW3 is a rehash of other games that have already been created. Why people are buying this game is beyond me; it's a glorified expansion pack.
The graphics in MW3 are good, but beyond that, they lack innovation. The entire game lacks innovation. I believe that's the issue.
