Re: Myth recording video breaks up with VDPAU
I've resurrected this old thread because I replaced my 9600GT with a GT430 and
the problem seems to have returned, although not as often. I am using the latest
driver, 295.33 on updated Fedora 16 64 bit with Mythtv 24.2 from ATRpms.
Occasionally, usually at a scene change, the video breaks up and looks blocky.
Also, it seems that enabling either vdpauivtc or high quality scaling causes
jumpy video, and the audio over HDMI occasionally drops out for a split
second. None of these were issues with the 9600GT although I did not
use audio over HDMI as it does not have HDMI.
