[Bug] OpenGL display list bug in driver 295.20 and 295.33
We have found a potential bug in display driver 295.20 and 295.33. The bug has been observed both under 64-bit Linux and 32-bit Windows XP.
The bug occurs during the first render pass when utilizing OpenGL display lists and double buffering.
It appears as only a subset of the display list is rendered during the first render pass. The number of triangles in the display list must exceed a couple of thousand triangles to make the bug appear.
After the first render pass is finished, the bug disappears.
The problem was first observed when rendering display lists under Qt, then a simple GLUT program was developed to isolate the problem.
The enclosed c-source-file(displayListBugTrigger.txt) can be used to trigger the problem. I've also attached two images showing the incorrect and expected output.
