Re: Official GeForce GTX 680 Benchmark Thread!
I've been following the GTX 680 overclocking thread over on ocn, and people are seriously getting frustrated. What I find even more comical is that there are a few over there that are avidly defending the card, even with it's crippled voltage control and overclocking headroom. The performance at stock is very good, don't get me wrong. I just wish that for $500 that nvidia would give it's users a little bit more control over the hardware.
I'm really hoping that custom PCB designs will be have voltage tweaking built in so that this mess can be laid to rest. When in the last 5 years or so has a high-end card not allowed you to tweak the voltage for better overclocks?
Come on nvidia, you're killing your core audience here.
