A lot of rules of what you can and cannot do, biggest thing seems to be to make sure not to write to it too much.

Out of curiosity what is a lot? I have moved several games back and forth to the SSD. What is really the life expectancy of an SSD drive? Do i need to be ultra paranoid in writing to the SSD?
Really you can do a ton of writes to it, I'm just a bit overly paranoid. So long as you aren't running some kind of database server or are using it as a DVR you're fine. They have tons of built in wear leveling algorithms and garbage collection, pretty high tech stuff.
