Got a 3550 on the way! Along with 2 x 8GB of Patroit memory

Almost pulled the trigger on a 3450S and I'm glad I looked on Intel's site first. The 3450 and 3450S don't have VT-D support which is half of the reason I'm getting this setup. Also decided it wasn't worth it to get the S model since at idle all version of the processor are basically the same. The only thing you're trading off is performance when the CPU is maxed out.

Now the hard part is finding the right board that has VT-d and at least 1 PCI slot on it.
