Default Nvclock able to change fanspeed Nvidia-Settings not.

Hello.

I can modify fanspeed using nvclock ( very simple ).

But I can't using nvidia-settings.

Code:
nvidia-settings -t --query [fan:0]/GPUCurrentFanSpeed
30
Code:
nvidia-settings -a "[fan:0]/GPUFanControlState=1" -a "[fan:0]/GPUCurrentFanSpeed=47"
Nothing change :

Code:
nvidia-settings -t --query [fan:0]/GPUCurrentFanSpeed
30

I am not using X11 configuration file.
I have install the driver by hand following the readme

My config :

Opensuse 12.1
Linux 3.1.9-1.4-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jan 27 08:55:10 UTC 2012 (efb5ff4) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
