Try reinstalling 302.07, but make sure that you stop the lightdm service as a first step. You may also have to uninstall the previous driver by hand before installing the new one. It took two tries for me to get 295.33 installed correctly. Once it was running correctly, I didn't have any difficulty with 302.07.
