I have a Clevo p150em, which has essentially the same setup (Nvidia Optiumus w/ Intel HD 4000 and Nvidia 675m).

You are correct in that the Nvidia card is unusable in Linux. Nvidia has stated they don't plan to support Linux, so who knows when this will change (if ever). This is the second time I've been scammed by Nvidia.

I would avoid the laptop if you need full 3d support. It's a shame there are no longer any decent 3D options available for Linux laptop users. AMD and Nvidia driver support is too poor to use and Intel's hardware and drivers are both terrible.
