You have a lot of companies investing a lot of dollars to continue Moore's law.
They may have workable and know road maps till 10nm, but they have plans up to 6nm at least.

Those maps are drawn over 10 years earlier, to identify what is needed to make it happen and dedicate the correct resources at the right time.

By now, all manufacturers are basically working together on those. They used to have 2 consortium (one centered on Intel and the other with pretty much everyone else, like IBM/TSMC/Samsung), but they are basically merging into one as the cost of researching those technologies become more ludicrous and the volume needed for break-even is unattainable by a single company.
