Choose Disk drive, and then you can start dragging dropping anything you want, not only mp3s or vids, but programs, games, apps, etc. I said games because I have downloaded a game demo from my phone (wifi) then take it home and put it on my PC.
It's not like that on my SGS2. You have to go to settings>USB utilities>connect storage to PC then plug in the cable when promted. If you plug in the cable any other time, it tries to install the kies software. SGS3 may be different, but it seems like Samsung want people to use kies as it's probably easier for people with no computer file system knowledge. Anyway, it's a small hurdle and easy to live with - much better than having to sync with some bloated app I don't want on my pc.
