More worrying are the findings on windows that the new 304.48 drivers have REDUCED the max pixel clock to 330MHz (!), together with the statements in this thread

Linux end users benefit from same-day support for new GPUs , OpenGL version and extension parity between NVIDIA Windows and NVIDIA Linux support, and OpenGL performance parity between NVIDIA Windows and NVIDIA Linux.
So it looks suspiciously like we can expect not an improvement, but rather a regression in performance in this area.
