Im using Debian testing right now. The current version of nvidiabl 0.73 works great on my System (Vaio VPCCW1S1E). The only Problem I have now, is that the oBacklight script doesn't change the brightness anymore. I am able to change the brightness if i use this command "echo value > /sys/class/backlight/nvidia_backlight/brightness" manually, where i enter 0-127 instead of value. The ACPI codes are set up correctly in the script. I checked it with acpi_listen, but it won't change my brightness if the script is running and i press my Brightness-UP and DOWN keys.

Any idea??
Hi theone123, if you run acpi_listen and push your brightness buttons, does it show any events occurring?

I haven't checked my script against the 0.73 release yet, but will try to do that asap.
