GOP Bios and the gtx 700 series-a question
Another reason why I bought a second asus gtx 760 was because that card (the DCII oc version) has a GOP video bios in it to allow for windows 8 fast boots. Now I am old school and didn't know how to activate the UEFI features on my board. With a little research, I was able to do so and now go from 15 second boot times to 6-7 second boot times into windows 8. The question I have is this: Did all of the gtx 700 series get GOP bioses from all vendors or is it still a vendor specific thing to add it later. Because my cards came with the GOP bios right out of the box. I found this out when reading reviews for the cards I have. So if anyone could shed some light on this it would be appreciated.
