Default I did the haswell upgrade for xmas!

if you look at my signature, you will notice that I now have a haswell xeon cpu and a gigabyte z87 motherboard. The mb and cpu that are in my brother's system (see signature )is what I used to own in mb and cpu. I upgraded him from a m5a88-m motherboard and amd fx 4100 cpu. Nice upgrades? The xeon cpu scores .1 higher at 8.3 on the wei vs. the 3770k. BTW, those using windows 8.1, you can now get (goto majorgeeks to get it) is the chris pc wei for windows 8.1. Yes, I know you can look at your wei scores in dos text mode. This app translates the text version back into a gui format. It even has the re-asses button to do a reassessment. and the windows experience index for windows 8.1 has relaxed somewhat on the scores meaning the same cpu,gpu and storage drive score higher on windows 8.1 then they would on windows 8. For instance the 3770k cpu scores a 8.0 in win 8, scores a 8.2 in windows 8.1. My gpu scores a 8.1 in windows 8, scores a 8.5 in windows 8.1. The storage drive stayed the same. As for the haswell xeon, it scores a 8.3 in windows 8.1. Don't know the windows 8 score since I own a full version copy of 8.1. The scores I showed you were when I had the windows 8 upgrade and decided to buy a full version since I don't like wasting time downloading something that takes from internet bandwidth and time in general every time you do a reformat.
