I get the same thing. I have to revert back to the old XF86Config to get it to work again. I posted this on another thread but I have yet to get a reply.
I'm lost with a capital L. I even tried this with the newest driver and it does the same thing.
Attached is my flawless nvidia install log. (appears flawless)
the issue is the same as the initial poster here - once I changed my XF86config from nv to nvidia I get a blank screen.
