Did you install the driver using the GCC 3.2 compiler? Your kernel is compiled with a diffferent version compiler (specific to Fedora) than your standard programs. You need to install with:

rpm -q gcc32
It is also beneficial to remove the Mesa libGL files, since these are replaced by the nvidia installer (but sometimes the linking doesn't occur right; this leaves you with poor performance on the Mesa libs rather than the nvidia libs). If you remove the rpm, you may have to deal with other rpms that 'depend' on Mesa, but you'll have 3d running at least.
rpm -e --nodeps XFree86-Mesa-libGL
