Yes, that's the good news.
The bad news is the PS2.0 speed comparable but less to a FX5600.
Well, it's still has better PS2.0 support than FX5200 or R900. So I'd say if the price is right at ~ FX5200 level it'll be a success; let's hope so. FX5600 didn't sell too well because the price - performance ratio was horrible. I'd guess that nVidia has learnt about that mistake and FX5500 will be el Cheapo.
