Unhappy UT2004 etc. doesn't find OpenGL Libary *panic*

hi all.

i've wrote in many forums about this prob.
i'd like to play ut2k4 with me hd-installed knoppix (debian). after installing the latest nvidia for my board (geforce 3) everything works fine, but any game that uses OpenGL exits with error-msgs like
(here UT2k4): "Couldn't find OpenGL Libary" ...
