Where did you here this? I would think there would be a few variations if you count Workstation market, rendering market (new market), High end Desktop market, Midrange, and eventually budget market.
Im not sure how quick nvidia will be to release a budget DX 9 part, something thats in a reasonable price range anyway. The Radeon 9000 brings DX to the masses, Looks like it maybe a little to expensive to have a budget DX 9 chip at moment. TO think about it not that it really matters considering how Software development has to catch up with the hardware anyways.
Also isnt the NV31 rumoured to be slower than the NV30 any thoughts?
