The kernel .config file (before you rebuild the kernel) should have these lines (to be exact):

CONFIG_4KSTACKS is an option in the "Kernel Hacking" section of the config utilities (menuconfig / xconfig). CONFIG_REGPARM is an option in the "General Setup" section (I think...).
