The driver does support the latest kernel, what you mean is that the installer does not have a 'precompiled interface'... which means you have to allow the installer to compile one for you (it does tell you that it can attempt that, you just need to say yes and have your kernel-source rpm installed).

A better approach to installing the drivers for FC1 is to use the RPMs available at the repository below (you can use yum to download these if you go to their main site and get setup info):
