Hello,

HW: MSI Geforce4 TI 4800SE (tv-out, tv-in)
SW: Linux 2.6.5 kernel with VESA framebuffer support compiled-in

My problem is, that the kernel does not accepts vga=xxx parameters, when xxx is greater than 0x315 (that means, I can't turn on framebuffer modes in 1024x768 resolution for my console). Thus vga=0x315 (800x600) works, but vga=0x317 gives me an error: "You passed an undefined mode number".

Any ideas?
