i could be wrong, but i think the problem with the board in this aspect is that the board is kindof a mix between threaded and non-threaded. i don't know, but i'm assuming that's [the quick reply change] meant for replying to a particular person (threaded) instead of the first person as default.
i think it's kindof pointless though, because people who don't use threaded mode have total disregard to threads at all (don't know who the person is replying to), which leads to a lot of confusion.
riiight, i guess all i'm trying to say is i feel it's pointless to have a half-threaded board... all or nothing
