Have you tried adding nvnet to your start up?
You can do it by adding nvnet to your /etc/modules.
manually using a text editor or,
Code:
echo nvnet >> /etc/modules
If you still cant get it to load make sure nvnet is somewhere in /lib/modules/2.4.22.XX/kernel/drivers/net/nvnet.o .
If its not there re-install the driver.
