HI im trying to get the Nvidia driver sworking and these are my files

IT apperars I hav eeverything in place except for the proper kerne and kernel- source
mine is kernel 2.4.18.17.8.0
kernel-source 2.4.18.17.8.0

I did a freashinstall of RD 8.0 then did an update to these kernel files.
Reading throught the other posts I see the only thing wrong is those files. How can I revert back to the right ones.


EDIT: OK I got everythig working. I did a reinstall and did not update . SO now I have the kernel and kernel-source that came on the CDs. My question now is whether I can update or not. IF I update my kernel and kernel source now will it will mess up my
Nvidia driver install.
